DES , the Enzo doesnt need a Tubi . Its quiet at low revs , but above 4000 RPM , it makes the Tubi equipped 360 sounds mute !! It sounds as a 1970's Le Mans Car.

I lived for a while in Paris, there are worst places to get stuck in Europe.

Toshi-chan!!! Yes - in fact, you should bring the 360 to the next ferrari meet and not tell Takao-chan! :D I already told him and he freaked out. :-)

Toshi-chan, what is your email address? I have your cell number somewhere. [email protected] is mine.

Theres something about that first poster that has to be changed. THE TITLE! Is it just me, or does that house look like one that a drug lord would have? In that first poster, the house looks like a nice house on the beachfront of a tropical location, possibly mexico, or better yet, columbia. i took the liberty to make the title more fitting.

I really like that GT40 though. I bet it sounded nice. come to think of it, i hvae heard it before. the owner was taking it out of a garace during the WWoC tech session last year. I've never heard an enzo before, or a 400i, but i'd be willing to bet the daytona is one the best sounding cars that were there, because that individual car i have heard before at redline on the highway.

Faisal, thanks... i won't be on, tonight, but i'll surely check it out tomorrow... Has the owner considered a Tubi...? EFWUN's car has a Tubi and it's literally like nothing i've ever heard... i don't know if purists would consider that a sacrilege, i just think the roar should go with the lion, you know...? Awesome photos, please let me know if you have any of just the Enzo...

By the way, Mr. G., your GT 40 looks awesome...

It's very quiet, at low rpms...but when it opens up, it's a nice deep roar. The sound rises very quickly, and...well, I have some video clips, so you should be able to judge from that. I will put them up tonight.

It is absolutely beautiful to see this car in motion. It's wide and low and the lines and swoops and curves that you see as it passes are fantastic. There's a lot of drama, or road presence. As much as a Diablo, or a Countach, and way more than a Murcielago.

Sounds terrific. Looks terrific. One of my videos shows it snaking around a highway exit. Just wait till my website refreshes tonight!

Kenny... sigh... i get all-- emotional, just looking at the Enzo... Can anyone DEScribe to me, what it sounds like...?
If you have any more pictures, of the Enzo - i mean really good shots, no people or other cars in the picture, could you email them to me...? i need a new picture for my DESktop and nothing makes me feel the way i feel when i look at the Enzo... Sigh... it's hard to breathe just talking about it...
Can you tell the owner i said thanks...? Thanks for getting one, for letting people take pictures of it and post them, publicly...

i keep pausing as i write this, to look at the pictures... LOL, i can't look at them for too long, or i think i'll cry... It's just such a beautiful car... i'm so emotionally unstable, it's frightening... :-)

I'm actually sorry more of you were not in attendance. I'll blame Kenny, since he organized the event, which started out--and remained--pretty intimate. Although i was merely providing the real estate --and some manly chow-- i would have enjoyed meeting DEs, and all the others in the local area. I would be more than happy to play host again, as long as i don't have to do all the phone calls to get everybody there. BTW, we never really did an organized drive, but a sort of haphazard one after lunch. I think it would be fun to do an organized rally, with as large a group of F cars as possible.

These photos are awesome, apparently, you all had a lot of fun. The Enzo draws me closer everytime i see it... i'm starting to fall in love with the car in a weird, kinda-human-but-not-really kinda way... Are there any psychotherapist on the board...?

Jason: The house is in Irvington, in the lower Hudson Valley, just 25 or so miles north of NYC. The towns along the river were, in the 20th century, mostly working class towns, not chi-chi compared to the other side of Westchester. However, in the late 19th century, there were some amazing estates along the Hudson, and many of them remain, along with some great ruins. In fact, there is a website devoted to the ruins of the Hudson Valley, where a number of castles and the like were built and eventually abandoned.
This house is in a turn of the century "development" consisting of about 30 or so old houses, built on property originally belonging to a large mansion across the street. (Not discernable in any of the pics). When we bought it, it was pretty gloomy. My wife and i love old houses and the things associated with them, and enjoy alot of the architecture along the river, which can be extraordinary. (There is a pink octagon house down the street, built in high victorian style, as well as a 14,ooo Sq Ft. carriage house at the end of my street which would make a serious garage. And its for sale!)Thanks, also Dave, for the compliment on the house.

The best moment for me was when Bill drove past 2 horseback riders who were waiting for us to pass so they could cross. I could swear I saw the horses recognize a kindred steed as Bill's Barchetta flew past.

Best driving moment for me: going south on 22, a four lane serpentine. From a standing start, i got off pretty quickly (the barchetta, like the 550, does not lay down all the rubber off the line, its usually squirmy), Jim bogged, and then showed us why the GT-40 was a real winner. He put me behind him in less than a second, and was almost long gone in another. For those of you who have fantasies that you are driving something approaching a race car, forget it. I am amazed Jim drives this thing on the street. The Enzo is, well, insane. It was great to meet some of you who i have known only thru this forum. Dom Miliano, from FORZA, took plenty of pictures, so don't be suprised if we get a pic or two in an upcoming issue.
Thanks to Kenny (and Ricky) for making all the arrangements, leaving me with little to do but supply some real estate. BTW, next time, we can just rent out Lyndhurst, down the street, and invite everybody.
