Andrew, Nice seat cover I have several options like that LOL Dave, I inquired about the price on those seats. They were like $6,000 each!!!!! I said theres no way I'm paying $6,000 for a seat unless it has an orgasmatron built in So I got sone nice Sparco racing seats for my 512TR I'm thinking i'd like to replace my road 512TR interior with a bare carbon fiber interior, like on the F40 & Diablo SV |

Kaz My Maser coupe has cruise control which works very well. As the Don pointed out until you screw the mats to the floor 308's have crusie control as well. My Maser also has heated seats. They've come a long since I had to defrost my 275 GTB with a cloth. Best Jim |

Dave - The Marcos Limo was a Mercedes Limo retrofited with a GM V8..don't know more than that and weight also about 12,000.. Art - Sunday crossed Alligator Alley, which is a 100 mi stright shot with only one off ramp mid way that leads to a gas station. On the way home did a couple of pulls between 140-160. After the last pull and holding at 75mph, you guessed it, state trooper comes pulling up on me hard. Sits on my tail for about 20 minutes. Did not pull me over. But, got kinda nervous and know my speed was fluctuating, which I think sends a signal of guilt to the cop, like keep checking your mirror while he's behind you... |

Xenon lights; a handbrake that holds the car in place without the necessity of keeping it in gear; switch for "sport" on the wheel instead of on the dash; stronger, deeper paint; less weight; radio delete option; scudie badge delete option; air con. delete option; power steering delete (or adjust) option; configurable exhaust systems; loud (non-FIAT sounding) horn; facility to install multi-point harnesses without ripping up carpeting or interior. That's what's off the top, without really thinking about it. |

Ferrari with cruise control? Come on, we've all got sedans for that kind of driving (some of us even have planes). The Ferrari, in my humble opinion, isn't to be driven to get somewhere, the fun is the drive. What our cars need is more HP, and then more HP, so that we could shut up those clowns in Porsches. IMHO Art |

Here is you cup holder. This one is in a 99 550 maranello. When we asked ferrari parts if a cupholder was an option we got this response "cupholder..NO! but we do offer a crack pipe holder. One hand on the shifter one on the wheel, have a nice day!" from that response we set out to make our own. here are the results |

Frank, what did Marcos' car have under the hood? Buddy of mine is on the Secret Service Presidential Detail in DC. Tells me that the current Caddy limos they use all have NASCAR motors, and have had them for years. 12,000 lbs, 800+++ hp. Apparently they can do 0-60 in [this information is classified, but it would humble all but the newest Ferraris]. Back in 199x, I was on a street when Clinton's motorcade drove by. Let me tell you: that car SOUNDED like a NASCAR engine with mufflers. Too bad it mostly drives at idle speed!!! But my buddy says they regularly train for evasion, etc. and those cars get regular Italian tuneups!!

Highly modified XKR. By the way, if any of you are wondering why they would use such a God-awfullly nasty shade of green on this car, it's because it's the exact same color being used on the Jaguar F1 cars. |

Is that jag an xk8 or xkr? The r has stock vents on the hood but the ones on the bond car are not the same. Did they just put that hood on an 8 or not? BTW if an f-car had a machine gun that raised out of the car when someone approached it would make one heck of a security system. Erik |

Hi Bart, Yep that's the car but I don't see the orange-tipped missles on yours. I believe they made 4 or 5 versions of this car for the movie. Rikky, I think the colour is the exact same one they use on the Jag F1 cars. I call it ELO Green (Electric Light Orchestra). |

Way back in the early 80's I was the station manager for Flying Tigers in Hawaii and we flew in the presidential limo for Marcos. Had a 3 day lay over enroute to MNL so me and the boys took her out for a spin around the airport area. Really was a James Bond car...center consol with all kinds of toggle switches and lights..did not mess with too many because they were not marked with what they did. The car had acft landing lights on the rear to "blind" a driver behind you, and oil sprayers...big 5 gal tank in trunk with outlets going below the brake lights...also did not realize you can't roll down windows with bullet proof glass because they are too thick..pretty cool stuff... Back to thread topic...boy, I wish F-Cars had cruise control...did a 600 mile trip yesterday and so hard to keep her 5 over the limit! I think Doody said something once about rolling up the floor mat....lol. |

I heared that the Vanquish, driven by Bond, had some many "options" that they had to replace the V12 with a smaller V8 to create some room. Well, then I'd lose the "options" and go with the V12 |

I came across this beauty which had options literally to... DIE... for. Notice the 'chic' missles in the front grill and the gatling machine gun on the rear deck. It really makes the car:
This was at the local Jag dealership for a couple of days on display before it headed to Seattle. It's the bad guy's car in the last bond flick. |
