They're all like that. The big problem is farm equipment and animals in the road. Almost hit two deer and a large cow on one recent afternoon cruise. |

went to tonkin yesterday and saw Dr. Weiner's silver 575. Absolutely gorgeous. We didn't meet up as my flight was delayed and I have to work all day today.
However, I am down in Wilsonville and found a really cool road at lunch. well worth your drive down 5 south, exit wilsonville road and take it for 12 miles west. Very curvy, hilly and treed with lots of farms on it. I am from Texas so everything is flat and straight. Wish I could take this road with me. My rental Chevy Impala was pushed to its cornering limits...almost.
Seriously, drive down and do this road unless all your roads are like that! |

I am going to be down in Wilsonville! That is 25 miles South of town so will be hard to run in to town for lunch or anything. Looks like today after 12:40 when I get in or dinner if anyone can/wants to make it. I will not have internet access so again call my cell. 214-532-8233 |

Unfortunately, I'm pretty busy during those days.
However, I think we should have some sort of FerrariChat Portland get-together or drive or something, maybe next month. |

wed afternoon is wide open as I fly in that day. gotta work thurs and fri so will only be able to break for a lunch really during the day. Thurs night is open, but of course Tonkin et all will be closed by then I imagine.

Crap. I'm in Portland most weekends, but not this coming one.
You can go visit my disassembled car at SE 10th & Main (small independent repair shop).
Tonkin is usually a nice visit. Hint: Take the public transportation - the MAX to SE 122nd. Tonkin is 1/2 block away. Best and easiest way. You even get to walk by 2, count'em, 2 "Cash for Your Title" places next to the Ferrari shop. |
