A friend of mine ran a 1995 Honda Prelude.

Ordinary enough? ;-)

99% of the people attending those runs are ordinary...however you want to classify ordinary is up to you.
If you are willing to spend the money then you are in there like swimwear ;O) At least at the Gumball, since they don't close the run at a certain number of cars...at least that's what I read on their site.

Playersrun is a little bit of a different story...a 308 would be accepted, but the number of cars is limited.

Ok, so what is the entry fee...? While everyone else is hamming it up each check point's "party", i'll be driving; you don't need a fast car to win, just the DESire. Do they have PDF applications...? Can i download one...? :-)

I saw just about all the cars last night and today. There was a Corvette Stingray, a 2002 Mustang GT, BMW Z3, a couple of outrageous hoopties, Caddy Escalade, Land Rover Defender 90 and a minicooper.

I think adding a 308 to the mix would be fantastic!

Just remember to set aside some money for speeding tickets and bail!

I belive all you need to go is the desire and the entry fee!

Make a few buddies in high society, so they can bail you all out of jail halfway though though :D)

Best!
Ben.

Gumball was here today in New Orleans. Looks like they overnited at the Windsor Court. I pass by the hotel each day. Lots of Pcars and also spotted a 550 and a 360 Spider. Lambo Murcie as well. Looked like a very cool group of cars to be travelling with....

This event looks fun. I have a reasonably nice '77 308 (and the money for entry). I am an average working guy not connected to high-society and people that own $300K sport cars. I would like to attend the next Gumball...Am I out of my leauge here? Would I be an 'outcast'? Would I break the 'spirit' of the 'proper' type that 'should' enter this event?
