I used http://bigskyexpress.com/ and had an excellent experience. They picked up my car in Fort Lauderdale and hauled it to Indianapolis. No transfer hubs, single ramp with no overhead cars to leak fluids from, constant communication from the owner/driver and no names on the side of the trailer. Rock was going to pick up one of Nicholas Cage's cars after my drop. Rock is a retired Insurance Exec. who Vintage Races as well as hauls expensive cars. Shelton Ferrari was impressed with him as well.

"The Dave". You may want to see my thread on Cali Titles. Predicated on the sales price of your car, you may be more concerned about this Vehicle Licensing Fee that you will soon experience at our friendly DMV.

Dr Shelbee,

That trailer looks exactly like the one that delivered my 328 (from Salt Lake City to Missouri). Did you get your car from Steve Harris'? If you did, then it must be the same guy. Yeah, I remember "Lee" is his name. I highly recommend him.

Dan,

Here is the local guy that is very (very) reliable.

Lee Gardner (503) 351-7170. He lives in Portland, OR, owns his 2 car trailer, fully enclosed with reliable price. He delivered my 550.

One word of advise, take everything that is not bolted down out of the interior of the car and trunk. From Chicago to California, I lost my tool kit and about 30.00 from the ashtray. They didnt even bother putting the ashtray back in its place. Also, if you can, use an enclosed transport vehicle. Mine came back with mud and road grime all over the car.

Intercity, Intercity, Intercity. Have used several, but have found Dave and Bob to be great, bith in terms of car care and communication. I now use them exclusively (and often!).

I was very pleased with the service offered by Select 1 Transport. Their price was fair and I had no complaints.

I had excellent personal experience with InterCities. They transported my 348 Challenge car from Houston to NY for a very reasonable price (enclosed) and kept me informed during the route. Very professional and helpful.

I just contracted with Intercities today. Have some good feedback but will know in a week or two. If you have time before shipping, I will let you know my experience. Feel free to email me.

Anyone have any positive experiences with car transport companies familiar and friendly to exotics? Might need to transport a vehicle from Texas to Cali.

Thanks,

--Dan
