Hans, I am curious. Is that 1K miles per month or year? You said only so I was not sure.

I drive mine as much as I can at least 1 or 2 times a week. I am not saving mine for the next owner.

I only drive mine about 1000 miles/month. It would be more than that if it weren't for the down time. Been in the shop for a month now.

I drive mine a couple of times a week usually. Why buy unless you're going to use it?

Mine is actually on jack stands at the moment. I can't stand it, especially when the weather is good. But it will be back on the road shortly.

Speaking of cob webs. My horn hadn't ever worked since the day I got the car. I thought it could be the compressor. When actually a spider had gotten into the horns and made a nest. There were at least for egg sacks in one, and about three in the other. The spider had died in one of them, and the eggs sacks and dead spider were clogging the horns. After cleaning them out the horns work.

I only drive mine on weekends, but that's because I keep it parked at a friends house. That could also explain why everytime I see it, it seems like it's brand new. Once we start living together I'm sure I'll take it out more often.

Realistically speaking, how many of the F-car owners actually drive their cars and how many F-cars are just Cobweb Condos because they've been parked in the garage or barn due to lack of time, cash for maintenance, higher priorities, etc? Every day on my way to work, I drive past a 330GT (I think) that's been in a garage for years and hasn't moved more than 20 feet. Another local has spent 5 times as much time with upkeep and modifications as he has with actual carefree driving. Other 308s that I use to see have disappeared into Cobweb Alley so to speak. Even though I am not an owner, most owners on the board seem pretty active. But for every active owner, how many other cars are "holding down the jackstands" for years on end?
