It's true that asking prices are $220-$230k for 360 Spiders, but what are people actually paying? My guess is that deals happen at about $200k. There was a 2001 360 Spider with 4,000 miles on the DuPont Registry site a while back that was being sold by a private individual for $199,500 and it took months to sell. If these cars were actually trading at $220-$230 it should have been snapped up quickly. |

With Aston making fewer cars than Ferrari do you not think there will be waiting lists there?? And if the 360 Spiders were not selling, I believe you would see the prices drop even more than what they already have. Remember back in 2001, a nearly new pre-owned spider was going for over $300K. Today they can be had for $220K-$230K. That looks like a pretty sizable drop from their high. True, they are still over sticker if you want to buy now and not wait a turn, but they have come down a lot. No, I would not like to pay that, but if I wanted one now and could afford it, I guess I would go ahead and buy one and start enjoying it. If you had waited on the list and gotten your car, then decided 9 months later to sell it, would you accept less than the going market or would you want to get the most you could? Now, don't tell me you are going to be the good guy and adjust say $15K for depreciation and offer to sell it for $15K less than you paid for it. No, you will want the same $220K-$230K just like anyone else would. And I do not say you are being greedy. I would say you are selling on market. People will only pay what the market will bear and on the 360 Spider, the market still bears up pretty well. |

With the intro of all the new cars coming out in this range (Bentley,Aston, Lambo ect), I would think people will go elsewhere instead of waiting those rediculous wait times and paying crazy premiums.I still see plenty of high priced spiders, but how many are actually being sold is the question. |

I was told that there is still a 24 to 30 month wait on the 360 Spider if you wait your turn on the list. The people who got on the list in late 1999 and early 2000 (12 months before the first spider arrived in the US) are just now getting their cars. Those who waited to see it and got on the list then are still waiting for the most part. That is of course unless you wanted one so bad you went ahead and bought your way in. Oh, and saying this is not year 2000 any more. There were not any 360 Spiders until 2001. The coupes came in 1999. |

This is why I say order two and sell one.. But with the thought of a replacement car already coming soon, I rather put the down payment on that and pay MSRP for the new car.. |

check recent threads - depending on options the MSRP from a dealer is anywhere from 180/185 to 200/205, some are still asking 250 but the consensus is no many are paying that, yet their is still a premium on the flip |
