I have paid close attention to the posts on driving at high RPM. I would like to understand if engine life degrades the curves as posted by the manufacturer. When I owned aircrafts, I would deduct about 10% off the weight & balance guidelines for every ten years of age. This is a safety measurement for age and wear. Does the same go for car engines?
