I bought a Ferrari from Martin Sight Unseen, he told me it was one of a kind!

Hans,
I am thinking about hanging the 208 body on the wall. You know painting it, tinting the glass and put all the lights and emblems back on and hang it in the warehouse.

The ulitmate garage!

Nope Hans, not quite....

Jeffrey was inquiring about the 208 engine/tranny I have for that 208GT4 body. In the meantime he found the gear ratios do not match up so he can not use that tranny for his car.

Great so see so many people responding. This is prove alone that it takes years to build up a decent reputation but with a bad deal you can lose it in a flash.

Thanks guys I am honored.

BTW Jim, the car was not really good. I am thinking about that car every once in a while and it was not good. Too questionable with all the spray in the front. Good you were hesitant. Then also that was a dealer I would not necessarily make business with unless the car checks 200%. ;)

Martin is driving a 208GT4 w/o a motor, as someone named Jeffrey took it from him.

Met Martin here on chat and have meet with him on several occasions (we live in same area) at local club events / car shows / etc.

Stand up guy. No Bull. Knows the Cars. Honest and respected.

Jeff - There are some less than honest dealers in Florida, but your OK with Martin.

Jeff, I am currently dealing with Martin and was referred to him via this board. 2 things struck me when speaking with him that you will probably hear consistently.
1. When talking about a consignment Ferrari or his own Ferrari he is giving fact rather than opinion. In the car business, this is a sign of trust.
2. He cares about both the buyer and the seller. He's not one sided.

I'm waiting for more information on a Ferrari that he has and I know that the info is sound. You know that at this level of the car business, integrity is everything. Martin knows and understands that if he blows it, he will lose all the respect that he worked hard getting.

Don't take my/our word for it, call him and use your own crap detector.

Mario

Would gladly do business with Martin in a heartbeat...like DaveL (and others) said, Martin tells it like it is...and he knows what he's talking about. He's passionate about the Ferrari marque, as evidenced here on this board and by his involvement in all the track meets / events. Honest, straightforward, and reputable dealers like Martin are more than deserving of the Ferrari community's support.

How's that, Martin...do I get a discount on that TR now?

He is an all-right guy because he knows everything about the cars, has been doing it a long time, and drives his car everyday.

How many dealerships actually have a sales guy that drives a ferrari every day? Or really knows what he is talking about?

Martin loves Ferrari ( I think he should see a Doctor) his passion for the cars is refreshing, and he'll tell you straight about the condition of the car.

Martin sells cars that are fairly represented. If he describes a vehicle...good or bad, then you can count on that.
His honor as a person and a dealer is unchallenged. Ive been looking now for a 328 and Martin gladly gave me his opinion on the phone 3 days ago without hesitation. He answered my questions and was happy to do so. Ive never met him but consider him my friend and an honest businessman.

So he is an allright guy simply because he is a sponsor of this board. I think the quality of the vehicles he sells should be first

Thanks guys!

I guess I would actually be considered a good Ferrari Source if I only lived any other place than close to The New Auto Toy Store, Prestige Imports or Steven Kessler.

BTW Nika and Marion both know from each other, just keep them physically apart. Seen that Miller Light Commercial? "Smooth, no Tasty, No Smooth, TASTY!"

He's a good guy and the spiritual leader of the Martinist movement. Can't miss him, he's roughly eleven feet tall, eye patch, fiery red hair, carries a musket and a cutlass.

Says "Arrrrrrr" a lot.:-)

Martin has offered some kind advise and stories right here on this forum.....

even though, from what I understand, he is a devil worshiper and slaughters animals and virgins in unholy rituals (just a joke at Martin's expense).

I would certainly offer him an opportunity to place me in an F Car.

You should use this thread in your promotion! Must be great to have such a fine reputation, congratulations, it has been earned.

Jeff,
You have nothing to worry about with Martin...he's a gentleman and a very righteous person...you will find that out pretty quickly when dealing with him.

Definitely call him.

One of the most respected guys on this site. Gives advise even when the car isn't purchased from him. If I were back east, I would always call Martin first.
