So far:
1 John - central NJ
2 Bret - northern NJ
3 Tom - northern NJ
4 Tim - southern NY
5 Adam - coming home from Boston so might be able to hook up with us if we do something in northern NJ.
6 Leo - northern NJ
7 Ed - central NJ

I only know the roads and places up here for the most part, but there has to be someplace between northern and central NJ that we could hit up. It seems that the afternoon/evening would work best, it is supposed to be a nice day according to the paper. All we have to do now is set a place and time. Does anyone know anyplace good inbetween us all? How far are the central guys away from the NYC area?

I emailed you guys about doing something this weekend. Anyone else that is interested should come. We should meet each other at least since we talk like everyday, and it would be cool since after we touch base we would be able to do things like this more often and more sporadically, just like a phone call and ask if you want to go for a ride type of thing. I personally think it would be great to get a tight group of us together because of all the advantages and it'll be a lot of fun besides.

I just got back about an hour ago, I took a nice ride into NY state in the evening. It was a little hot during the day, but the evening was great. We should set something up for next Sunday with a couple guys and just take a nice ride up the Palisades or 9W, we could go past FNA headquarters or Wide World of Cars. I know a great little restaurant up the Palisades right on the Hudson (it's next to a marina) and we could all park our cars there and eat while we look at them next to the Hudson.

I'm game for whatever, I live right off 80 at my dad's shop and right off 17 at my house. There are some good roads up in Ringwood that I hit up sometimes and see other Ferraris, but that might be a little bit of a ride for some people. It'd be really cool to at least get a couple people together tomorrow.

I am so damn frustrated! I wanted to catch up with you guys for a ride this weekend, but ran into trouble. I finally switched the HRE rims on my car with the stock ones. The rear wheels were no problem, butI had to order ten front wheel bolts (I got them from Lyle Tanner) because the ones that were on the HREs had been cut down to work with that rim. The stock rims, however, take a longer bolt in front than the rear. So I ordered these longer bolts, mounted the wheels, spun them, and got a grating sound. The bolts are too long! According to dealers, parts suppliers, and people Ive spoken with, 308/328 front wheel bolts are supposed to be longer than the rear. Another tip off about these bolts is the fact that, when properly torqued down, the head of the bolt sticks out past the surface of the rim. This doesnt happen with the rear bolts, and besides, it just looks wrong. Can one of you guys with a 328 do me a favor and pull a front wheel bolt from your car and measure the total length of the bolt? Can you pull a rear as well and confirm that the rear is shorter than the front? Im around this weekend so you can even call me at 201-692-0379. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Anyone free on Sunday? It should be a nice day. We could take a ride to anywhere. Any suggestions? New Hope, out 78 or 80 or just meet up somewhere.

While we still have some nice summer evenings, is anyone in the Northern NJ area wan't to meet up one evening for a little drive / dinner, or maybe on a weekend for lunch. A little informal get together.

Adam
