500 total, of which 75 were US, of which there are at least a dozen in the Bay Area (I know of one gentleman that owns 3, and a father and son that have one - each, plus a few others). Importing a Euro model could be tricky, similar to importing a Euro F50 (for street use), if they were made too late in the 1995 MY then they would be subject to OBD-2 regulations that were just NOT available (then, now or ever) for these cars. This is the ONE item which I'd have double checked 1000x over, in bringing a euro car to the USA. -Ben |

Is that 500 total of which 75 were US, or is it 500 Euro and 75 US? I've found a couple, and one in my color choice so far. I might want to wait so that I can make all my car purchases at once. There always seems to be one or two of these for sale. Cheers |

I know that 500 512M's were made, so a Euro version would be a great option to look at. Good Luck with you search.. |

Yes, there are some differences between Euro and US F512Ms. For example the blinkers and the 3rd braking lights. I think that the restraint system is also different. I'm not sure about the engine and emission system, but it looks the same for US and Euro. For some more info, check my site at http://www.red-headed.com (check "Articles"). |

I think by the time the 512M was released Europe was catching up to the US in emmission requirements so they are probably pretty close. That said I have a friend who is a car dealer who told me to stay away from California cars cus they just dont run as well as other cars |

I know the 308s were different if they were from Europe. What about the F512Ms? The U.S. had a run of 75. Ferrari made quite a lot more for Europe. Are there differences between these models? Any performance differences? Cheers |
