The list I have also says F105AB for the 308QV. There is no F108AL even listed nor F108 anything. I see mostly F105* and F106*. This is coming from Keith Bluemel's book "Original Ferrari V-8". | ||

Ken F108AL does appear to be an engine type but not one listed on the info I have, having said that my list may be Euro only which lists F105AB for the 308QV | ||

Yup, that's the gearbox. But the engine # should be near the water outlet/thermostat on the front of the block. | ||

Ken, The number that you have there appears to be the number and production number of the gearbox. The engine number should be on a polished area on top of the engine next to the oil filter base. I will check tomorrow as to the number of a usa 308 QV and let you know. best regards, jim | ||
