Thanks guys. Went to take pics of the car Friday. Unfortunately, it is on the hoist getting all the certification and safety done. Did take the pics but having some difficulty in uploading. Will try again, or email to a fellow f chatter for him to do so.
Hope to get the car next Thursday.
Went to see a black/black 92 348 ts today. Very nice, and the shifter was much nicer than the others I've tried. Price is a bit high, and color not my favourite. Comes with FNA 1 year warranty however. Will probably keep looking.

Congrats Adrian. Hey bro if you have the money to get the 348 do it. Nothing better than to have your choice of Ferrari's to drive.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the words. Yes, the car is from Caliber. I'd been looking at it for over 6 months, but never thought I'd actually do it. Derek went with me yesterday to look at the car. Was going to get him to come today but our schedules had conflicts. I'll be calling him tomorrow with the good news.

Adrien,

Fantastic to hear about the Dino. Lemme guess, you bought the one from Caliber on the Queensway right? I drooled over that car endless days and have lusted after it for as long as I can remember. One of these days we should drive up to Dereks place you in your Dino and me in my GTB to pay him a visit. Congrats, you will love it.

Good for you. They are gorgeous, a blast to drive at speeds approximating the law, are a wonderful "old" design that is timeless, with many attributes, not the least of which is duplication of the daytona instrument pod, and can only get more, not less, valuable. (See Sheehan's column in the latest Sports Car Marketplace). Enjoy and post some pictures.

Thanks guys. Just as soon as I figure out where my ultra expensive, slimmer than credit card digital camera made of unobtanium is, and how to use the bloody thing, I'll take pictures.
Stephen, look forward to meeting you. BTW, you don't happen to be a watch afficianado, specifically Lange? Name seems very familiar.

Congratulations Adrian,
Please share some shots with us as soon as you get a chance. I hope I can see it in person this summer when I'm back up in Toronto. I usually try to get together with the regular TO Fchat crowd. They're an outstanding group of guys, and a great resource for information and help.

Well boys and girls, I am finally a proud owner of a '72 Fly Yellow 246 GT. Got to see all the papers today, and the previous owner spent about $50,000 restoring it about 8 years ago. All documentation and pictures. Bare metal respray, engine out, all new trim and leather. Car virtually looks new. Needs some bushings and ball joints for safety certification. Otherwise perfect.
Took it out for a long test drive today. Very smooth and easy car to drive. Did not find lacking in low end torque, though it might be because the engine was rebuilt not long ago. Or maybe it's because I WAS TOO EXCITED TO NOTICE! The sound of the engine...heavenly. The tranny felt great and the clutch was easy compared to the 348. Very tossable and fast. Reminds me of my Mini Cooper S.
Anyway, I just want to thank ALL of you who helped by giving me your feedback. It was invaluable and much appreciated. I pick up the car next Wed/Thurs. Don't know how I'm going to wait that long.
Might have to buy the 348 the dealer has. Price is right and is ready to go! Will see about that tomorrow.
