I am also very concerned about the effects of detonation on the internals of my engine (ie piston tops, bearings, etc).

Assuming a 1997 355, entirely stock, no carbon build up on the pistions, air/fuel mixture within manufacturer's specifications, altitude=100 feet above sea level, ambient air tempature 77 degrees F., 30% relative humidity, and using 91 octane fuel (measured by: the Reasearch plus Motor divided by 2 method) can ANYONE PLEASE tell me at what cylinder tempature AND load level detonation will occur????

I have spent many sleepless nights trying to figure this one out, but I am stuck and need help.

PS. MANY 2 AXIS GRAPHS, THEORIES, AND ENGINEERING NOMENCLATURE WELCOMED.
