yeah, i just saw a 2001 360 with every inch sparkling, from the engine bay to the underskirt to the interior. 340 miles on the clock. it had sat in a collector's barn for the last two years, and he just sent it in to make room for his enzo. he collects motorcycles too, even though he has never been seen riding one.

apparently this guy buys one of every single f-car model each year. even the dealer was saying that he had a "disease".

what a pointless waste.

I guess some owners are really collectors who own cars numbering over 10, 15, or 20. If that same indiviual had other, pressing concerns to attend, I can see how a car would only have 70 miles...though in that case it was prob more like he/she had over 30/40 cars and bought it for having it, not experiancing it.

Who would want a Ferrari that just 'sat' in the lot for three years? That situation moves closer to the term 'storage'and unproperly stored cars, Ferrari or not, are probably going to need more than a 15K service.

What happens if you buy a ferrari from a dealership that is new but is almost three years old take a 2001 550 barchetta for example. Would that car need a 15k mile serive because of the 3 years? Does the dealer pay for this? How often does a new F-car stay at a dealership? I know I go to Algar often and some cars they have had for many months like the silver 456, or this yellow 360 coupe. The prices don't change they just let them sit. Do they want to get rid of them or not?
