What is the usual going rate for a 512M? At a price of $165K, I am surprised you didn't go after a late model 550. What made you decide on the 512M rather than a 550? |

Omar, I was eyeing that 512M prior to picking up my 360.....It looks stunning in pictures, I bet its even more so in person...........I hope the deal comes through for your dad. Then take lots of pictures! |

I was there last week an saw the 512M. In photos i was not so keen on it, but in the flesh what a gorgeous car. Very impressive good luck with your bid Omar. |

I went with my father today over to greenwhich...mind you we live in PA and its a 3hr drive assuming no traffic and we left at 1 (they close at 4; Father wasnt free until then)
Well I call ahead saying I am coming, to give them a heads up to get the F512M out/ready whatever, to which he agreed and to see me soon.
Well I hit traffic, and recalled saying I might not be able to make it, he said that they were busy planing some event and wont be able to stay over, and was sorry. Well I said I would still come..might as well I was 1/2 way there, and just see its location so I could come a different day.
Well I make it, 4:30; and yea the place was closed...but who do I see sitting on the computer? Mr. Fister! I knocked on the window and he prompty let us in and introduced us. He too us over to see the F512M...wonderful condition, I might add, and told my father some things about it (he's not too big on cars). I got to sit inside and see that yes indeed I fit! (I'm over 6 ft tall)
Well I was able to get my father 80% convinced to get the 512M, so he made a reasonable offer of $165k for the car(it has 2600 miles, with major last year; and a tubi), I hope the seller takes it (the car is one consignment), as I am not sure if father will go higher.

Oh yea for the record they had some pretty cars...but well my attention was focused on my favorite supermodel on the runway :D |
