Interesting. So I guess I kind 'redeemed' myself then: Last week in the factory I saw a 360 Challenge and pointed at it proudly announcing, that was a Challenge car. Immediately somebody turned around and said, no, this is a Stradale. So I guess that makes me look only half as stupid...  | ||

Patrick, The Stradale is indeed the street-legal version of the 360 Challenge. Gian Maria and a few others on FC have ordered it I believe, and first US deliveries will be later this year. Regards, Amar | ||

Doody and Patrick, thanks for your help. But: It is a mess and we're only looking a few years back. Patrick compare your answer to the Models page on this site and you'll notice you're off by a year on average. Also when I compare the official F book, it states the 355 F1 introduction year as 1997, but the Models page has it a year later. Could it be, that the Models page is based on introduction to the US? | ||

I think the official year of the 360 was 00,and for the spider it was 01...The 360Challenge was launched in 2001. The Maranello was launched in 96,and I think the 550 Maranello GT0 was launched in 01 along with the 550 barchetta...The 575M is also semi new since 97. And no the 360GT is not the same as the Stradale. Does anyone know if the Challenge Stradale is street legal? | ||

Got the 'Official Ferrari 50 years book', which is a great (if not the best) encyclopedia about all things Ferrari in chronological order. Unfortunately it stops at 1997. So, what cars came out what year since? I know there is the Enzo in 2003, but what else? When was the official year of the 360, the 360 Spider, the 360 Challenge, the Maranello GT etc? And btw: Is the 360 Modena GT the same as the 360 Stradale? I'm almost embarassed to ask all these questions... |
