the more I look the more amazed I am! It has real cloth seat belts that move with a clip that slides up and down the belt! Even has the emmision decals in the engine bay. I got one on ebay, we'll see how it does. | ||

I find it interesting they used a very early, limited production 308 for the model/pattern. It appears to be an early fiberglass dry-sump version. In the engine picture, is the silver area behind the (LHD) driver an oil tank? The all amber turn signals in the rear with the reverse lamps in the bumper is very rare as is the single tip exhaust. That being said, it is long overdue for a quality 1:18 scale 308 model to be made. Kyosho is one of the best IMO. Yes they use real leather and have incredible detail. | ||

For the Torontonians among us... I was just on Yorkville Ave yesterday (Sat.) and RaceBuffs on the NORTH side of the street halfway between Bay and Avenue Rd.. has a few of the yellow 308s for $80. In addition 3 or 4 red/black 512BBs and what got me drooling: 2 yellow Daytonas. VERY nice. Also: MiniGrid in Unionville has the yellow 308 but i only saw one. Same price i think... retail in Canada is $109.00. This is a beauty!! The cover over the spare tire is real leather!! and the rear luggage compartment cover is also real leather!! I think this model far out does the Kyosho BB512 in detail and over all quality!! | ||
