Yes, running and warm.... I learned the hard way, overfilled and almost lost the engine. $450 later the car was clean again. Felt pretty dumb about that, the guys at the shop are still teasing me with that. Now I am paranoid and do not fill enough oil into the car. |

Yes, and be careful when you reach over the hot muffler. Use a towel to unscrew the cap. |

I know to check the oil when the engine is warm. The dealer said to check it with the engine running...Unless I missed it in the manual, is this correct? |
