That's great that you guys from Seattle are coming up for the event Kuzi! The only time I saw the Enzo was in Maranello, I hope to see one at the show too!

I'll let Roy Kan know you guys are coming up (Roy's the FCA director for the western canada region).

Cheers!

A bunch of us from Seattle will be coming up for that.........it would be way cool if he brought his enzo for sure........he's been spotted by a couple of club members already out driving his auto, the way it was meant to be driven!

Yes I plan on being there, I missed it last year and I'm going to make sure I don't miss it. I don't own a Ferrari myself but I sure make it obvious I like Ferrari's with all my shirts and scale models and my constant talk about the cars. Hopefully the one delivered last weekend in Seattle will drive up for the show!

No prob Guillaume,

No, they won't get an Enzo in for the local market because it doesn't meet crash tests for Canada. Like the F50 and F40 you can't, to my knowledge, insure them here.

BTW, are you going to the Italian car show in June at Lonsdale Quay? A couple of us f-chatters will be there.

The Doctor is correct. The 348 is "Spider."

Matt,

It is "Spider" not "Spyder." Though I like "Spyder" too.

Dennis, are you from the Montreal area like me? It was probably all the damn potholes or stone streets in Montreal that banged the car up when it was being transported.

Stroll was also the silent partner of Tommy Hilfiger. I believe Stroll owns at least 1 province :-)

Mr Stroll is the silent partner in Ferrari of Quebec. He has quite a collection including a Porsche 959, 250GTO, 250TR, 333SP etc. If you come up to the Mont Tremblant event in the summer you will see a few of his toys. He also owns the track.

Man, I was in Montreal last week and hoping I would see the Enzo in their showroom but to my dismay, it wasn't there. Who is Lawrence Stroll's and does anyone know if Brian Jessel will have an introduction for the Enzo as well and when is it going to be? Thanks for any info

I was at the Ferrari Maserati cocktail at the NYAS and i remember how they revved the Enzo V12 to much more than 5000 RPM with the car being cold..they oppened the car and let a few ladies in who just mashed the pedal to the floor eventhough the car had been sitting there the whole day...Smoke was coming out of the engine bay and it sounded like it was running on just 6 cylinders...i was almost crying.

I spoke to Sabrina at FoQ and she said it is a company car that is making it's rounds to various dealers so I doubt it is Mr. Strolls car. I am really disapointed as I was looking forward to the evening.

Matt
It could happen. There are genitically engineered bacteria that like to eat oil. They could be used to clean up oil spills. If some were to get into your sump it wouldn't be pretty!

Just got a letter from Ferrari Quebec... the unveiling of the new Enzo Ferrari scheduled for this week has been canceled because the car suffered "severe damage".

Doh.

Anyone know what happened? I presume this is Lawrence Stroll's personal car?

vty,

--Dennis
