I'm glad I have the Ferrari as it's the reliable one in the family compared to my BMW and Toyota. Both of those have left me stranded, the Ferrari never has. |

Craig, I always think that a Ferrari is much too expensive when really calculating all the costs. This happens especially when not having driven it for two or three weeks. Strange thing is that everytime I drive it again its just pure fun and I begin to think: Damn, even if it would be more expensive than I expect it to be (Talking about gearboxes ) it would still be worth every single cent. Never experienced that in any car before. I am so glad that this car can make me so relatively happy when driving it. Its like christmas for a little kid! Feeling like a little boy! After all you just need to have kept some of this feeling to be really passionate about Ferraris (Otherwise you would buy a more sensible car like a Porsche or something, believe me!). Hey, when the cars run we're driving them. When we're at the office we post here about driving. When they're not running, we're posting in the Tech section to find out why not. |

With all the negative comments on this board about Ferraris one might be inclined to think that they are pieces of crap if they came here to do research. Since nobody seems to post their positive experiences I thought I'd throw mine out there... for the researcher. So.... I jumped in the 348 yesterday and like all the other days before yesterday it started right up. Drove over 100 miles up to VIR, did a few laps and drove back for a total round trip of over 250 miles. Not one single problem with the car. In fact it starts right up every time I ask it to and I drive it like a bat out of hell. The car has performed great day in and day out since buying it. What a great car.
