Well it looks like I'll be checking out both events, at least that's the current plan. I'll probably be heading to Saratoga Saturday morning to see the cars/museum/town/more cars and then I'll be making the trek from there down towards Reading and just stay overnight at a hotel. After the Reading show I'll get to take the long drive back to Rochester, NY Sunday afternoon.

Any way you look at it, I'm going to be doing a lot of driving :-)

Tim--yes I remember meeting you. Yup, I did get a nice '85 --check out <wwwfreshtoad.com/ferrari/> for some photos of it.
I believe that Reading will be a much more populated event from what I hear. The Saratoga event tends to be small--last year there were about 9 cars gathered. However, the Museum is running a cool Ferrari exhiblt inside, which is nice to see. The exhibit is on until 6/25/03.

Is Reading near Pittsburgh? If so, I would go to PA and also take in Frank Lloyd Wright's masterpiece, Falling Water. It's about an hour from Pittsburgh.
Rgds,
Faisal.

Hey guys,
Just had a quick on-topic question here. Do you have any guesses as to how many Ferrari's will show up on the 17th? I'm currently debating whether to go to this event or make the trek to Reading, PA. Weather seems like it will be nice in both places so I'm looking for a deciding factor. I wish I could go to both but they're on the same weekend and would entail quite a bit of driving.

Thanks,
Tim

I remember a year ago when i met you at the WWoC tech session, you were looking for a 308. Glad to see you found one and are enjoying it.

Matt--small world! Although I'm at that hardware store all of the time, the car you see there is the store owner's. He also has a red/tan 308. I believe that his is an '80--mine is an '85. By the way, I pass a red 355 spider on Rt. 9 all of the time, but we've never met. Do you know who that guy is?

More fun this way, IMO. This way i can piss off the OffToipic police. Its not so much darren i have a problem with (infact no problem at all). It wasnt darren that banned me from kennys website for a supid reason...
This pretty much is all i have to say. I dropped it many posts down. Kenny decided to run it out by repling thrice and getting his bro involed, so i dont want to hear the whole "take it to email" spiel.

When you're the only professor in the room, its adjunct. Skidmore doesn't have TA's in the business department.

I make the tests, grade the finals. Yes, I believe adjunct is correct. Plus, TA's don't get paid, adjuncts do.

Hello Tim,
Kenny mentioned you wrote a few things on this board about me - which isn't too cool. This is my first post, probably my last - but I want to clear something up.

1) I live in Saratoga Springs during the year while I attend Skidmore College. I live in a HOUSE on Clinton St. (131 to be exact)

2) I am an adjunct professor at Skidmore College this past semester, teaching MIS 3XX(Management Information Systems)

3) I've lectured at the following schools: Union College (2001), Albany State (2001), RPI (2002), Skidmore (ongoing), etc.

If you are going to take stabs at me, I'd like to know why. I've talked to you maybe for 5 minutes total in person, and I didn't know you had a problem with me.

DH

Assuming i wake up before 5pm on the 17th, maybe i'll check it out if any of my friends are up visiting that can drive me. It is a nice drive up Rt. 50 from me. I and my team volunteered a few hours that saturday morning to do community service for the stockade district assoc. in schenectady. What was i thinking, and thats springfest weekend.

kenny, come on pal. everyone knows college makes you into more of an @$$hole.

Tim, I try really hard not to respond to the pointless crap you post but why do you insist on ruining other peoples threads for this? GROW UP, you're in college... If you have anything to say to me, my email is [email protected].

kenny, you mean college dorm room?? lol. i love on one of his sites where he says he "resides in saratoga springs and makes cameo appearances in business lectures at Skidmore College." lmfao. Way to modern of a place, and too artsy fartsy.

I'd go on the 17th, but I volounteered along with the rest of my team to do community service for the Schenectady Stockade District Assoc. since thats where we keep our stuff. Thats also Springfest weekend, so i'll be pretty hungover.

There are multiple ways to go for a organuized drive. You could take the LONG scenic route, which is 9. You could take the scenic route, which is the taconic (too many state troopers) or you could take the high speed way, the thruway.

For those of you within range of Saratoga, NY, the new auto museum has an exhibit of Ferraris running until 6/30. At present there are 9 cars on the floor including an F40, a Daytona, 166MM , 250GT, and several others. Almost all are in beautiful shape, with some having been impeccably restored.

AND... on Sat. 5/17, the museum is sponsoring a Ferrari Day wherein anyone with a Ferrari is welcome to exhibit his/ her car in front of the museum for an informal gathering /public showing. It starts around 10 am. I hope some Chatters can make it.

the museum's website is: <www.saratogaautomuseum.com>. The phone # is (518) 587-1935.
