martin is a stellar guy, but you should do a deal with him soon because FNA is going to have his pasty white ass hauled off to a federal pen in south florida where he'll be wishing he'd cybersquatted "noidontwanttobeyourgirlfriend.org" instead :-) :-) :-) :-)

doody!

Martin is a good guy. I have known him for a few years. Would rather buy from him than a dealer. He is also a member of the Scuderia Calamari!

Don't beat a horse dead. There is always that Ferrari connection. A dead horse is not rampante

Collin,
in fact I do not have a shop, heck I do not have a "showroom" in the traditional sense either. Only a warehouse as the official address (by appointment only) and my office where I do my daily work out of.

If necessary work is being done by a mechanic that I trust very much, Murry Bacchus in Hollywood FL. For PPIs I can recomment a list of Ferrari savy mechanics in the area. I personally like Murry becuase he gets me in and out quick. Otheres you may have to wait days for an appointment to get your car on a lift. But it is your choice.

Thanks for the kind words Jeff and the others. Eli, the only reason I can be honest is becuase I am not a F-dealer and do not have to deal with the overhead and the race team cost and the Masers they are putting in my lot to get one Ferrari. :-)

Eli, look at your deal. They are paying you fair market value for your car and selling you the F360 modena for list. Where are they making money? (except on the new sale)

although i have not bought a car from/thru him, i did meet with him in december and we spoke for about an hour. very nice guy, and by all accounts a very honest stand-up fellow. he knows his cars, the rules and regs, lots of contacts, the local racing scene etc etc. i intend to buy something thru him within a year or so. no qualms about vouching for him. fwiw.

beat dead except...........

I was the one who originally asked, as I was going to make purchase from them(Him - Martin).

Actually all the accolades were understated!

Martin was probably one of the best Ferrari guys I have met. Nice person and very accomadating. Truthful and honest to a fault.

Rest very assured that when you're dealing with him, you should have absolutely no worries what-so-ever.

Now the horse is dead and thread has come full circle.....

THANKS MARTIN!!!

Thanks Don. I did a search on this and I guess I spelled it wrong as nothing came up correctly. LET'S END THE THREAD. HORSE BEAT DEAD.

I think martin just does the brokering. He doesn't have a service shop that I know of. He will do a good check on the car for you, but I think he still recommends a 3rd party PPI. Martin knows his cars and can spot a good one, but he is a real estate guy not a mechanic...right?

I know Martin thinks I'm checking up on him (I'm asking him to help me locate a worth F-car). Martin has been extremely helpful, but I did want to ask the F-Chat members about your experience with the Cavalino folks for repairs, inspections, etc. Martin, I hope you're not offended. :-)
