That car caught my eye as well.Sadly I probably won't be able to find one for that price when I'm actually ready to buy one. Not to mention the desired color combo. I prefer the coupe too.

actually let me rephrase this. This car is priced right and would make a good buy. Reaing through the description you are getting a great car. Service book or not. he has everything from 1998 on. Last 5 years guys that is plenty!

The service book on a 15 year old car is of no value. What you need is the service history since the last engine out service. You guys get so hung up over the service book. What do I care if the car had an oil service in 1987. If the service was done properly at the last engine out and since then I am fine with that. Clutch is another question. only would I deduct for a clutch if the owner can not produce the clutch replacement invoice.

As for price I think the price in buy it now is pretty much right on. More on the high side if you ask me. You can buy 3.2 Convertibles for high 20s to mid 30s. Giving this car in good condition you have a high end for a Mondial but get a great car.

I think that there is no servicebook! He says that the "recent service records" are available.

I would not easily buy a Ferrari without a servicebook.

If all checks out, price does appear IMHO to be on the low side, even in today's soft market. But when the price is too low there's usually a story behind it. Buyer beware. Make sure you do a PPI and check all history before committing. Goodluck.

Don't think you're missing anything. The buyitnow price is about where it should be given the car and the currently weak market.
Check out the Forza issue about the Mondial. There were actually two, one for the spider and one for the berlinetta like this one.
