When I do it - it will be yellow if I can find one. I would like a yellow black combo. I am shooting for next year on the purchase. I like "notred" because it is to the point and you do not have to explain norosso to those non Italian types. Enjoy, she looks great. my |

Hey, nice car! I was thinking of GIALLO, but it sounds too much like a brand of cheap wine... Yellow cars are very rare - I bet there is a breakdown by color somewhere. Seems like you see that color more often in 88's and 89's. It seemed to be a popular color for 80-82 model 308s for some reason. |

Congrats Crawford. I must commend you on your choice of colors. What year? Thus far mine is the only '87 I'm found - I would love to see the giallo number count by year. What about GIALLO?

Great website you've got there on your profile page, Lee! You'll have to venture to Nashville when you get your car up and running. |

I am the proud owner of a bouncing baby Ferrari. Although the little bundle of joie is pronouncedly jaundice, the Ferrari doc sez that's perfectly normal. Born June, 1986 (#65277). It's been 2 years since I had to sell my red 328, and I've finally found (re: can now finally afford) a new car. I've always been fond of FLYellow and was fortunate to purchase this gem from a fellow F-chatter up New England way. And just to make it interesting, I bought the car sight unseen (except for a few .jpgs). PPI was done at Boston Sports Car. They are good guys there and looked over the car in detail at no charge. I was going to fly up to see it, even toyed with the idea of driving it back down to Nashville. I finally decided to have it shipped by carrier and it arrived this morning. It's more exciting that way, isn't it? The car looks better than I had hoped. It has 52k miles but looks almost like a garage queen. I've got to say that when the driver started pulling the cover off the car I felt a shot of adrenaline. What a great color!! This was the right choice. Interior is a dark brown/black combination - very nice looking. Then it was over to my mechanics for a Post Purchase Inspection and it passed with FLYing colors. Only thing needed was a slight adjustment to the idle. Went thru emissions testing like a Honda - super low hydrocarbons and CO readings. The engine sings and pulls strong. Man, I had forgotten how good that seat leather smells! The car has all the paperwork, tool kit, even the (funky) magnetic Ferrari trouble light (never seen one of those). Laney and I have big plans for this summer. She told me "Get us some helmets!" YES, MA'AM!. We'll be at Roebling this fall, and hopefully find a track event this summer. We'll be in Atlanta for the FCA-southeast kickoff party this weekend. I'd like some opinions on the vanity plate. TN allows seven letters and I've got it narrowed down to: NOROSSO NONROSO NOT RED Which one?? Here are a couple of pics of the newby: http://members.aol.com/cwhite7449/fly.jpg Crawford
