Congratulations. If I ever get a second Ferrari, it would be a Dino. One of the most beautiful forms ever conceived. |

Hi BJ, We did drive through Yorkville ...used to own the Audio Excellence there, but sold it to my friend a few years ago. Was hoping he was open so I could show him the car. Unfortunately, he was closed. Will try to post pics later today.

Whart...LMAO!!! Robert, thanks for the nice comments. Derek's been driving the car as well, and we will be spending some time thoroughly sorting the car out to pull some Gs! |

Yeah, amen. One thing that always puzzled me is that Harley people seem to dislike virtually everything else on the road, but, for some reason, they dig ferraris. Go figure. It must have something to do with outdated technology, put together by neandrethals, at a high price. |

Sorry for not posting sooner...I was busy ENJOYING MY 246! Picked up the car Friday evening at 6pm, but did not get home until about 10pm. Funny thing is the dealership is only about 20 mins from my house. Must have taken the long way home! WHAT AN ADRENALINE SHOT! I have been fortunate to have either owned or driven many nice cars, but it took ownership of this 31 year old car to ignite the PASSION and JOY of driving I now feel. The car is very crude, primitive, LOUD and I LOVE IT! I can hear AND FEEL the engine right behind me, while the steering is superbly communicative. The car FEELS really fast even though cars are all passing me on the fast lane! After about 30 minutes, I pull into a gas station to fill up...the gas gauge needs to be fixed. My legs are wobbly, and my left leg is stiff from the clutch. "Nice car" the gas attendant says. "New Toyota?" I said yes and left. Ah well, can't win them all. I took my middle daughter for a ride on Saturday. Her grin and excitement was priceless. She must have been feeding off my emotions. We drove by a coffee shop with about 12 Harleys parked outside. They all turned to look, with some giving us the thumbs up. Sunday I had some errands to run, including driving my eldest to the library to pick up some books. We went to the one 25 minutes away...there's a library less than 3 minutes from my house. She needs some school supplies as well so we drive into Toronto for some paper. Another 40 minutes each way! Was raining quite heavily today, and I debated about driving the car. I couldn't resist. Had a blast! After drying the car off when I got home, I sat and stared at her. She's FINALLY mine, and unlike all the others, this time, the trophy is MUCH BETTER than the chase. My sincere thanks to all who helped with answers to my inexperience. I hope to return the favor and contribute someday. |
