You might want to try Driven Image in NYC. Their NY number is (212)268-8201. Web address is www.drivenimage.com or call them at (866)4-DRIVEN

but seriously, if you can't find an all out rental...I'd be happy to stop by so you can take a bunch of pictures with the car...for free...I'm in the area and provided the weather is nice and the date is free..the car will come out...

The girl in question (me) is a resident and Ferrari ownership is, unfortunately, decades away. So, a rental is the closest I'll be able to surpirse my finace with anytime soon.

Hi Tara...With 'MD' after your name, would you be in a position to buy a Ferrari? You certainly have the time to check this option out! You may be suprised of how little you could buy one for, take a 308 for example. If hubby to be is that obsessed with a Ferrai as his 'dream' car, what the heck, buy him one!.....(Then look at all of the 'honney-do's' he will owe you! :-)

Jim, I called the Village and they unfortunately no longer have those two Ferraris. Supposedly, the website hasn't been updated... I'll keep trying.

to me you would be better getting the car for ealier in the day as at the end of receptions people are busy leaving and no one really concerns themselves with how you slip away, that said I have decorated a few get a way cars with TP and shaving cream :-)

Jim, when you have a four seat Ferrari, you can take two people :-) Plus I was not sure if he was looking for a ride to the church/house of worship or from there, As I read her post more carefully they are just looking for a ride from the reception which prob means they want to be alone :-)

Thank you for all of the speedy replies! If all goes well at the reception, we do plan on making a grand exit together. :-) My fiance doesn't drink so I am sure he will be able to drive to the hotel (East Norwich, NY to Garden City, NY).

Tara, there's a NY specific area on Fchat at http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/8226/8226.html Perhaps repeating your request there would be helpful?

Tara, welcome to FerrariChat...! Where on Long Island is the reception...? There are plenty of people on here that might be able to point you in the right direction... Off the top of my head, i can't think of any place on the Island that rents Ferraris, but there might be a place in NYC... Congratulations on soon-to-be tying the knot... :-)

I desperately want to rent a Ferrari, my fiance's DREAM car, for one night (6/28/03) for him to drive away from the reception. He'd cherish the experience forever! We live in NYC and the reception is on Long Island. I would greatly appreciate any information regarding renting one of these gorgeous cars for a night. Thanks.
