I did check the previous threads.....you're right, lots of info. I went to Stabilents website and found these things out.......
There is Stabilant 22....undiluted
Stabilant22E....diluted with Ethanol
Stabilant 22a....diluted with Alcohol....VW is listed as an authorized distributer...only when I called our local dealer he specifically told me that they don't have any Stabilant 22...any variety...only Stabilant..NO NUMBER....kind of wierd, because Stailants website didn't reference anything without some number behind it........I'll go to the dealership and try to see exactyly what they have in stock. |

stabilent 22 is just a version diluted with alchol - niether are aresol. call posthorn in ny they will shipp it to you or dilute the stuff from the vw dealer, I think you can actually use either or - there a threads on this |

I looked over some past threads and saw that Stabilant22 is usually avialable at a VW Dealer....I called the local dealer and they said that they had Stabilant.......not Stabilant 22....also his came in a tube and was 42.00....I thought the product always discussed here was an aerosol.....any clarification/where can I get the Stabilant 22 that's always referenced on this board? |
