Martin, I'm with Paul on this one... maybe yellow... and blue checkerboard designs? (If you are driving it on the street, then just Yellow with black or CF accents)

Rob,
maybe you an point me their way. I know exactly what you mean. When they bake in the sun for a few days you can not get them back off.
I bought a police cruiser for my dad from our twown with the police decals on it and we ended up with the $199 Maicco special to put new paint on the car. The decals would not come off.

Noel,
totally agree. I actually liked the black with florescent greed accent on the car I was supposed to buy from Germany. Looked really cool.

Silver is also where I tend to. Seeing Rob's car makes me convinced that silver is the way to go. Am not sure about the accent color though. Would not mind a florescent color. Maybe even forescent green.

This one has the reduced noise muffler on it. I would love to have the loud one. I think that is the way to go for a race car. Then, if you don't know how to drive fast on the track you want to avoid the attention you are getting with the loud muffler.

:-)

I don't think I will be doing much with the car. The car is really for sle. So only if the car is not sold I will drive it on club events and enjoy it.

I like the silver on Rob's car, don't stickers hurt the aerodynamics :-)

avoid dark colors, they really show the rock chips and normal race wear.

Martin,

Use decals! Much cheaper, easier to remove and if done professionally look great. The majority of Challenge cars have decals vs. airbrushing.

As far as re-painting a different color. Go for it. These cars will never appreciate much (if at all) and the original color is unimportant.

Many have been repainted several times in different colors. Rob's car which originally belonged to Steve Earle was repainted for Ed Martinez when he bought it.

Curious to know if you got both loud and quiet exhausts with the car? the quiet exhaust (muffled) is impossible to find and a friend of mine just sold his for $1500. I still have mine, it's never been installed and brand new.

When is your first track outing. please email me pictures when it's done for my new 355 Challenge website.

Regards,

vinyl stickers, they peal right off when you're done, however, make sure to use high quality ones, the ones I have for the Rx7 are hard to get off and sometimes bring the paint with them, I'm using who FoD and FoH use for all their stuff.

one thing i think looks great is when the air intakes are a different color than the rest of the car, it really accentuates the cars lines. silver is always a great race color, and i favor the less is more attitude.

Rob, how are you planning to put advertisement on the car. Airbrush or stickers? Where will you get the large stickers?

I am thinking logo for the hood and side pieces flaring up.

I will likely look at re-painting the 355 Challenge car I have in stock. Maybe even cahnging the color from presently red to something else.
Please give me suggestions.
