I drove a TR as a daily driver for 115,000 miles. Bumper to bumper NYC rushour was no problem even on 100 degree days. Handled well in the snow as well. If you're willing to do a major every 15,000 miles/3years it's a great ride. |

I have owned a 1994 348 Spider, a 1986 TR and now own a 1982 BB512i. While the 348 would make the best daily driver out of the three, the Boxer is hands down the most fun to drive. |

will it be used for commuting? must drive them. power steering, extreme width of tr, f1 trans, abs, etc all make big differences in day to day driving. not so imp if just want an exotic play toy. good luck |

Adrian, don't buy a Boxer if you are going to use it in traffic. Buy it to blast around on the weekend. Dave, couldn't agree with you more. The only problem is every other Sunday you get a late start in the Boxer because you have to watch the F1 race. Regards, Drew Altemara |

if your main objective is traffic the 355. Very modern handling car. if you look for track and feel the 348 if you want power through the whole spectrum a 12cyl is the way to go. A Testarossa would not be my choice for heavy traffic though. The car needs an open road. It is a to drive in stop and go. |

I own a Testarossa '88, for me this is pleasure in heavy or no traffic at all. I dont care about the 348, a 328 is a favorite of mine, which my brother bougth from me. A testarossa its got the looks the 355 cant touch, the sound the 355 will never produce, best of all its that it is an Enzo car, one of the pure and real ones. Why an 8 when you can have the magic of a 12? |

355... Modern and easy to drive in congested areas. I have driven all 3 and the 355 wins easily!!! |

Adrian, get a 512TR. I live in Hong Kong, which is one of the most congested cities in the world, and have driven the 512TR in the midst of heavy traffic. No problem. Never driven a Boxer or the Testarossa before, but I imagine they will be more of a pain to drive in heavy traffic. Incidentally, the 512TR is also my second Ferrari. |

The Boxer will definatly grow on you but heavy traffic is just a pain. But for me the Boxer is the Best when the driving conditions are perfect like 5:30 Sunday am - in the garage just before church! |

No contest! Testarossa or BB512. V-12's and much better looks. 348's and 355's are appealing as their prices have droped like rocks, but they still probably have further to go. Get a classic. |

Just an aside adrian.......ever think of a maranello? You have a mid-engined Ferrari, complement it with a front engined V12 that you can drive daily. |

355 it is a much more modern car, and it will be able to be driven in traffic easier then the others no doubt about that. Erik |

355. If you are going to be in traffic the 355 is the only choice. I've owned a 348 (two of them), and driven the Boxer. You'll hate the others, love the 355 if you are driving it in traffic. Art |

Okay gang, time to get serious for my second Fcar. What would you buy? The car would be used about 2-3 times a week except for Winter. Some heavy traffic in the mornings. No thoughts to track at this time. Which of these beauties would you pick? As an additional piece of info, if I pick the Boxer/Testarossa, I'll probably keep the car, while I expect I'd probably sell the 348/355 after a few years. I NEED YOUR HELP!!! |
