Thank you all for the positive comments. To answer some questions, the car just rolled over 19,000 miles. It is well documented so I consider it to be correct. The interior is original however it did receive an extensive working over. All the leather was re-dyed as it was in excellent shape but had faded over time. The interior in fact was totally disassembled and detailed as it was re-assembled. Excessive perhaps but believe me there is little else to do in the cold Canadian winters. Mechanically it did not need anything but I re-cored the rad as preventitive maintenance, installed an Electronic single distributor with a European advance curve and fitted European bumpers to the car. The 16" wheels and Steve M's lowering perches front and rear completed the project. For now I just want to drive the thing and rack up the miles. |
