I can tell you, this has changed since Michael Schumacher has come along. There is a whole new level of respect for Ferraris now in Germany. Whenever I passed construction sites in my rented 360, the workers would hoot and hollar and cheer me on as if I were Schumacher himself!!

During 2 weeks of driving, not once did I have a problem with the left lane issue. Quite the contrary -- it was extremely refreshing to have the left lane open ALL of the time! People only seem to use it to (a) pass, or (b) travel REALLY fast. Wish it were the same in the US!

I hope German drivers have changed since I lived over there. They would absolutely refuse to get out of the left lane and let me pass on the autobahns when I was in my Ferrari, but instantly pulled over if I was driving my BMW coupe. Very frustrating at the time.

Cool. It's understandable that they would want to use them. I got a letter from them the other day actually.

Yesterday I got a call from the guys at the North American office of Scuderia von Ruschenberg. They asked for my permission to use pics of me on their new web site. Apparently last September when I rented from them, I was their FIRST AMERICAN customer. (Previously, this service had only been marketed in Germany.)

So, I noticed today that they just launched their new web site. It is located at:

www.EuropeanFerrariRental.com

They told me that the site is not finished yet, but there's going to be a big article in Autoweek next week, introducing the company's launch. So they had to get something on the web, quick.

I'm just excited because my pics are on the site!! (Under the "Stable of Horses" section.)

Check it out!
