Even if its a replica, its a great looking car.

A nearly identical car was sold at the RM auction in Santa Monica last year. It was presented as having s/n 142536 (non-Ferrari s/n). The engine was a Dino 246 (from a Fiat, perhaps?), the rest of the car was manufactured. This looks to be the same, with given s/n 196008.

Boudewijn,

Apparently a replica...

Don't know if "replica" applies to the whole car or just the body. Judging by the S/N in the article, the whole car seems a replica.

(LONG LIVE GOOGLE!)

Thanks for the first replies. I'm still wondering about the S/N. I have an older picture of a same type of car. Maybe the same?Upload

If I was to take a guess, it looks like a 250 Testa Rossa, 1959 or 1960. The side pipes should exit the rear but there are far more knowledgeable people on this site than I.

L. Wayne...where are you?

Who knows the type identification and serial number of this Ferrari? I should be a 196 type, but I can't find it in my library nor on the web. Who knows?Upload
