A nearly identical car was sold at the RM auction in Santa Monica last year. It was presented as having s/n 142536 (non-Ferrari s/n). The engine was a Dino 246 (from a Fiat, perhaps?), the rest of the car was manufactured. This looks to be the same, with given s/n 196008. |

Boudewijn, Apparently a replica... http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/2001-forza-amelia-rally/ Don't know if "replica" applies to the whole car or just the body. Judging by the S/N in the article, the whole car seems a replica. (LONG LIVE GOOGLE!) Jack Habits |

Thanks for the first replies. I'm still wondering about the S/N. I have an older picture of a same type of car. Maybe the same? |

If I was to take a guess, it looks like a 250 Testa Rossa, 1959 or 1960. The side pipes should exit the rear but there are far more knowledgeable people on this site than I. L. Wayne...where are you? |

Who knows the type identification and serial number of this Ferrari? I should be a 196 type, but I can't find it in my library nor on the web. Who knows?
