Mr Doody I have had somewhat the same exp with my 355. The light should be out once the car has been disarmed and running. When the system is not working, my alarm will emit 4 beeps in succession when I frst start the car. When I have used the car on a more regular basis, the problem has corrected itself. The only other hint I might be able to suggest is that your system may be out of sequence. I would suggest that you try to arm and disarm the car a few times and see what occurs then. One other thing I mght add is that once I run the car and then restart the car a short time later, I did not get the 4 beeps. The 4 beeps do represent a code that I'm sure a Ferrari technican could tell you what the problem might be. |

Hoping some of the 355 owners in the crowd can clarify an alarm question for me. The alarm LED between the two center HVAC vents stays on solid when the car is on (started up and driving 'round). Is this normal or should it go out? The manual isn't entirely clear on this. In one place it implies that a solid light means there's a problem. Thanks, Doody. |
