I would be very interested if you could vector me to Ken to get to his friend. That is precisely the color scheme I am looking for. Also, I have a bunch of questions for you regarding your experience with owning a Mondial. Do you mind if I e-mail you off line? |

I agree with your thoughts, I just happen to come across a cab at a great price a few years ago and took it. with experience the top is not that bad to operate by ones self, that said I don't put it up and down every day replacement tops run about 1-1,500 installed. BTW, I think Ken in NJ has a friend selling his 3.2 coupe red/tan. I saw it at a show and its in great shape |

I'm really partial to the clean roof-line of the coupe. It simply looks more sporting to me. The convertible top is also a hassle, nearly a two person job to raise and lower. It also seems rather fragile and expensive to repair. My M Roadstr was a joy to drive in the Spring and Fall, but that top was elegantly designed for minimal hassle and ease of use. |

no problem, I am sure some do sell that low in certain circumstances. When you say the top is a pain in the ass, do you mean you don't like the look or don't want to be bothered with it. I orginally was looking at coupes but ended up with a cab, I like the look of the coupes slighty better but nothing beats a drop top in the spring, summer and fall. |

Tom, Sorry for the confusion. I'm sort of comparing apples and oranges. I've been shopping coupes and comparing the prices to a cab. I really prefer a coupe - aesthetically the coupe is more pleasing and functionally, that top is a real pain in the butt. |

while I don't dispute the prices have fallen, I have not seen any 3.2 cabs with service and good condition in the low to mid 20s. this implies they sell around 20 thousand??? The dealer car seems priced about right and I am sure they would take in the low to mid 30s with a dealer used warranty |

Thank you for the advice! I made a trip to Ferrari of Washington (I live in Northern Virginia) to see a Mondial 3.2 Cabriolet. With a full cosmetic clean-up and major service, the dealer wants $36K. That seems pretty strong considering I've seen many cars with recent service and good cosmetics for low to mid $20K's. I'm also not too fond of the cabriolet top. Does anybody know of a quality Mondial 3.2 for sale(Rosso/Corsa and tan interior is preferred)? |

Keith...you can go to www.ferrariusa.com and select Dealers > Dealer Locator > and choose state of FL > and select Ferrari / Maserati of Central Florida. From there you can view all the information, inventory, directions, phone #'s, staff, etc. It's hard to miss as they are right on Interstate 4 going through Orlando (right hand side if you're heading South). Ultimate Motors is in the general Orlando / Longwood area also, but I don't know too much about them. I currently use an independent mechanic by the name of European Sports Car Service, Inc. there in the Orlando area...just northwest of FoCF by about 15 miles. They've done the major recently on my 308, and did superb work. They service other F-cars as well, including Mondials. |

I live in Indiana but can remember that it's on the nortnern side of Orlando. There is a large TV broadcasting antanae or tower and the next exit going north is where you get off. Then north parallel withe th I-4 and across I-4 (overpass or bridge I can't remember) to the first street then southerly 1/2 mile or so. Sorry I can't be more accurate but that what I remember. |

I've recently purchased a second home north of Tampa on the Gulf. I'm also in the proces of negotiating the purchase of a 1986 Mondial 3.2 and was hopeful that someone could tell me where in Central Florida I can have the car serviced. Where exactly is this dealership located? |

I showed up in a rental car to look over the dealership and was treated like a customer who would do business with them in the future. |

I can only comment on their parts department. I recently bought a "Perlux" oil filter for my 360 for only $12.75. Another F dealer in south FL wanted $29 for the same filter. Go figure! |

good place to spend your money. sales staff consists of human beings who will actually speak to you, not down to you. service dpt. who fixes things once and can tell you why. |

Sales department is top notch, IMO! Raymund (sales) has been in the Ferrari biz for quite a while now, and is very professional. Doug in parts is extremely helpful as well. A buddy of mine has his Euro 360 serviced there, and has nothing but good to say about their service dept. |

I would like to get your opinion on this dealers service department as well as the overall impression of the sales department. Thanks, Scott |
