Paul, i keep meaning to call you but haven't had the chance, lately... These were taken at WWOC... James Glickenhaus gave me the heads up on the event and told me to stop by; it was a pleasure meeting the folks i met; i had a great time... |

Rob, i had to get rid of the last picture in this thread; i keep editing the plate, but everytime i upload the edited picture, the old one shows up. Gotta figure it out, but i recall seeing your 'Vette there... Too bad i didn't know who you were, it would have been a pleasure meeting you... i've never driven a 'Vette before, than you for the offer... Next event, we'll have to make it a point to meet; i'll let you drive the Scuderia Challenge Imitazione (lol!) if it's still running... |

Not sure if the guy's on the site, but...... Kenny was nice enough (& brave enough) to let me take his yellow BMW Z3 for a spin... As we were pulling out of WWOC, the fellow in the "Barchetta TR" was pulling in... We both looked over, jaws agape, and complimented him on his car... He seemed sorta smug about it (at least, that's the impression i got)... In my personal opinion, it takes a heavy set to chop off the top of your Ferrari, but it still looked cool... Upon our return, we were walking around and saw this car, parked... i looked into the cockpit and :::gasp::: it was an automatic...! "Kenny, it's an automatic!" i yelled... In unison, we broke out in a disbelief-induced laughter - "It's a kit car...!" Very funny stuff... Kenny, thanks again for letting me get a taste of the BMW; although i'm not a big fan of the DESign of BMWs new Z series, i can definitely respect them... |

Thoroughly enjoyed the pics DES...thanks! Yep, that's one of them rebodied Corvette / TR replicas...the stock 'vette seats and dash are a dead giveaway. I've seen a couple of these around town here. |

Looking through my old Cavallinos I think it was was fairly common in the late 80's to do this. Actually one of the cover cars on the FML site for awhile was one of these cuts. |
