They were scrubbed slightly before mounting, correct? Some distributors do this and its a big convienance.. others don't, and a shiny rotor is a great receipe for squeals. All of them doing it or just the fronts, rears, or a single wheel? I'm putting on my brembo's tomorrow in the afternoon in the driveway and will see if they protest at all as they are bed in. Sunny |

Craig, much, much appreciated. I am going to try some of the products mentioned. If that does not work I am going to the Porterfield Pads. I have them on my MB E320. There is no brake dust but a lost some braking power. Thanks! |

P.T. -- two possibilities (beyond the conventional sticky goop) are mentioned in this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/112/795.html I've been getting a couple of years between required goopings with the conventional sticky stuff so I never pursued the ITT or the Wolverine products myself -- if you do, please let us know how/who/price/results etc.. |

Anyone out there know how to get rid of that annoying brake squeal?? FNA dealer had graphite (grease like) crap on the back of the pads. I tried coating the back of the pads with "silicone" type ant-squeal and it lasts a short time and starts up again. They are new Brembo pads and are chamfered. Hey, I have a couple of tricks. I can pull those pads in about 4 minutes (including jacking up the car and pulling the wheels). |
