I bought both the parts and workshop manual for my TR from that guy at ebay. Top quality and half the price than others. Steve, maybe you paid too much |

Be careful who you order manuals from. I have spent a few dollars on poor quality manuals. I purchased one manual from Italian Car Parts in West Linn, Oregon. This was a poor reproduction. Portions of the text were not photocopied due to misalignment of the pages, and any fine detail in the diagrams is lost. I also have yet to see a CD-ROM version of a manual that is high quality. The resolution is typically low in order to save disk space. Illustations, in particular, suffer terribly in these low res reproductions. The manual is usable, but not high quality. The version I purchased was from "cdmanuals" on ebay. I have forgotten their company name, but they are located in Indianapolis. Though I am not thoroughly satisfied with the CD-ROM manual, I also purchased a paper reproduction of the workshop manual from the same folks. Their paper reproduction was very good. Every page was high quality, the fine detail in the figures was clearly readable. No missing text on any page. They bound the manual in a blue Ferrari workshop 4-ring binder. Each section has a hard-paper divider. I am pleased with this copy. It may be worth your while to hunt these folks down. If I can find my receipt, I'll post the name and address of these folks. http://maranello-literature.com/ http://www.ferrariliterature.com http://www.ferraribooks.com http://www.ebay.com -- seller "carliterature" usually has a lot of F stuff (and the most reasonable prices of the group -- gets my top F lit supplier recommendation based on my experience as a customer). http://www.autoliteratur.com/ The print number for the TR WSM is 330/84 (I take it you already have an SPC). The OM will be year and version dependent. Try Keyword Search to find the previous TR KO tool discussions -- here's an example: http://209.196.179.161/discus/messages/112/2255.html? |

Does anyone know how I can get myself a service manual for a 1986 TR? How about a driver's manual? Also looking for a torque wrench for my knock-offs. Thanks. |
