Greg, Look forward to seeing you there and Paul as well if he can make it. Matt, I think they nixed the idea of a race. It's going to be a track event for the 348's/355's thrown in between the practice and qualifying for the 360 Challenge guys. Track days are Thursday and Friday and the exhibition lap is Saturday right before the 360 Challenge race. My understanding is that FNA couldn't make up their mind how to regulate licenses for a 348/355 race. Some folks didn�t want to get a race license, others wanted only a Grand Am requirement and others (like me) wanted a full SCCA National (or Regional at a minimum) license. No way I am racing with folks who have no license or a flimsy Grand Am license (which requires nothing more than a $250 check and a two day Skippy course). Wife is due any day now. I think junior is going to like either racing or soccer. Can't tell if all the kicking he is doing is heel n' toe practice or penalty kicks. Will, I am not sure about the track event. The literature I was sent was specifically for 348 and 355 Challenge owners but it sounded as if the two days of track sessions are open to any Ferrari's. Contact FNA at (201) 816-2600 and ask for Maria Homann she is in charge of the event. Make sure you clarify with her if it's a general track event or just open to Challenge cars. Regards, Jon | ||

Jon, can you resend me that address for the low cost slicks ? I want to go to LRP then, any idea if they will let me run my 512TR race car ? Should be running end of June I hope, Its bloody gorgeous  | ||

Received some literature in the mail yesterday from FNA. July 10th through the 12th the 360 Challenge and Historics is being hosted at Lime Rock. In addition, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Challenge Series, FNA is trying to gather all 348 and 355 Challenge cars for the event. There will be a group photo and an exhibition on the 12th for all 348/355 Challenge cars and all participants will receive a special event trophy and a videotape of the weekend. Matt, Rob, Paul, Martin any of you planning to attend. I called FNA and they have gotten about 20 cars signed up so far. Email me for more info or call FNA. Regards, Jon P.
