I had a TR whole dash recovered for $1200 and a seat bolster and then both seats re-dyed for another $600.

I think Conolly have ceased trading?

I got a quote for a new piece of leather to cover the handbrake lever and cover/tray to the side of the drivers door and Ferrari UK quoted over 800 sterling and an 8 week wait!!!!, it's now being done by a local upholstery shop for a lot less!!

If it is just small nicks etc you may be able to get it refinished for a fraction of the cost.

Call these guys:

www.gahh.com

They have matches on the leather. I'm sure that they can help.

The leather is not torn or ripped, it is nicked up alot and the nicks have broken through the coloration of the leather. The nicks are light gray in color.

Scott,
a good upholstry shop will take the door panel off and I believe these paneles are screwed on the master panel. Take the pieces off and take the leather off and re-leather with original Conolly leather. Again, a good shop knows where to order it.

Question:
is the leather ripped and worn or just color wise discolorated? If torn you need to recover if worn (in terms of dye) have the pieces redyed.

Yes.... It appears the the surrounds are a seperate piece attached to the door panel... Can't a dealer just order new pieces?

Scott, I beleive the pieces you are talking about is covered in "Conolly" Leather. (That is what they put in F-Cars, Bentleys, Leer Jets, etc.) I think you would want a perfect match, correct?

yes,
you need a good upholstry shop to do it and you need to tell them to do it with the same stitching.

Can the door handle pulls and surrounds be replaced on a 355? Can the part be ordered from a Ferrrai dealer or can the surround be releathered? I am talking about the black areas on the door panels of a car with tan interior.
Thanks,
Scott
