"550 & 328 "only"."

Now there's a sentence you won't find anywhere else. Local F dealer has a gorgeous 575, new, that can be had, what a car ... I'd love to have a 12 cyl ...

Will, sorry, no Enzo!! 550 & 328 "only". Thanks for the response. I may contact the Zeus folks. And if you ever bring the car down to Texas, please let me know. Likewise, if I'm ever up in the MD. area with some extra time..

Matt - Thanks, I can't wait to drive it. I'll have it at the Thurs and Friday test days preceding next weekend's Mid-Ohio national. This car might be the one that makes me look fast. I'll test it and let you know if it's really idiot proof!

Dave - Heckuva question, and all I know is what I've been told - this is the first car in the US, so there's no experience here. The Toyota Atlantic engine in my car has been detuned somewhat, by reducing the rev limit and other means. Target rebuild interval is a minimum of one approximately 9 race weekend (3 day per weekend)season, with some test days as well. The goal as explained to me was to avoid at all costs a "hand grenade" engine with high maintenance costs.

The Zetec should be particularly bullet proof I'd think, and is a less expensive option. I know nothing about the V6. If you're interested I recommend you call Jon and grill him about these issues, perhaps there is some relevant European experience. if you're really, really interested, then we could talk about a test drive session, assuming our schedules work. Quid pro quo could be hefty though - remind me to check your profile to see if you have an Enzo .... ;-)

Will, very nice. I like the drive train options. Question: what are the rebuild intervals with each engine?

Thanks!

Jason, forgot to add, part of cost increase vis a vis the Radical CSR reflects use in the Zeus of F3 Dallara Hewland 6 speed sequential, & F3 Alcon brakes. Based on an automobile, not motorcycle, power train. Sweet. I know, I know - the enthusiasm of a new owner ....

Jason, as I understand things cost varies with engine selection primarily, and you really should contact the importer, Racers Edge Motorsports, 973.579.2990, ask for Jon. The Toyota engine & carbon fiber made mine pretty costly, around 90k. Again, I have no financial interest in the sale of these cars - except that the importer is a friend, and for obvious reasons I'd sure like to see more of these in the US.

Thought this might be OT, but then remembered past threads about what do you race, and the Radical, etc. Just bought this English car, carbon fiber body, sequential, Toyota Atlantic engine (also available with a tuned Ford Zetec or a Cosworth V6), etc, very fast, pretty fun, should be great for SCCA CSR or the SCCA pro series. I have NO economic interest in sales of the car except that I own one and want to see more owners!
