I was in Portland, OR last week on a biz trip. When I stopped at a gas station to refill my rental, I stepped out of the car and a cute gal rushed to the gas pump and prepared it to fill the car.

I was so confused so I told her that I do not want a "full service" (yikes, I cant believe I said that) that I want to pump the gas myself. Her reply was "In Oregon, we have attendants to pump gas."

I have never seen such a cute gas attendant in my life.

I took a bike trip in '99; Chicago to Yellowstone and back in 4 days (don't ask). Anyhow, I stopped to fuel-up off the interstate in ND when some 'what appeared to be' locals pulled up; a couple of guys and a woman - she was beautiful. Very girl next 'doorish'. I was shocked, especially considering that I was miles from anything resembling a town.

There were two amazing young ladies working as hostesses at a local restaurant the other night. It's funny how just a glance can leave me completely mesmorized. Man... Is there any gift to mankind that is greater than womanhood? Besides Italian cars? lol!

Actually, it's not their loss, it's your loss. They will simply and easily move onto any one of a number of other guys with a better car and a fatter bank account without giving you a second thought.

Precisely. Their loss.

And if you think that you have nothing to lose, stop and think a moment about how many guys financial lives have been ruined by hooking up with the WRONG one. Nothing like a vicious battle in the divorce courts to show you just how much you can actually lose!

Again, precisely. You are thinking in monetary terms. There's far more to life than money. Guess most people have to have it before you figure out how meaningless it is.

Rgds,
Faisal.

I don't know what the deal is but i'm yet to see a "movie star" type in person that has taken my breath away much less in an unusual place. I guess I need to visit California more often.

Jordan,
you have nothing to lose, and everything to gain! It's their loss if they turn you down, so psych yourself up and ask them out! The worst they can do is say no.
Best wishes,
Faisal

Wow Bruce, it is a really small world. I lived in Bloomsbury (exit 7) and flew hot-air balloons all around the Clinton area for a long time. Glad to hear she is still there, might have to stop by this weekend while I'm up visiting.

Alex I guess your right about pictures. I have been thinking maybe I should go back and ask her if she would pose next to my car in a skimpy bikini or something. As for the hooters girls, I don't think that would qualify as unusal since you would expect to see hot women in Hooters. Good lookin blonde though!

One of the most beautiful women I've ever seen was working at a trashy truck-stop diner on rt. 78 in NJ. The place is nasty on the outside but has great food latenights and the most beautiful waitress in the world. What she's doing there I have no idea, she could easily hop on a bus to NYC and be a supermodel.

Years ago I was in the computer center at Oregon State University when a real looker walked up and asked a question about a program she was working on. I got tongue-tied and could only blurt out total gibberish. "Blaheah. Gobnocho. Wawa."

She walked away, shaking her head. I felt like a real idiot.

I once took a client to lunch to a restaurant he suggested. When we got there, he asked for a specific waitress. When she got to the table, he stood up and hugged her, then introduced her to me. She turned around and I couldn't speak. She was amazing. As she left he started laughing at me, said it happens all the time. She was the girlfriend of his son!

Yep... easier to say where NOT to find one... like next to me on a long flight to Italy. :-)

Actually working on a flight line loading bombs on an F-16. I've never seen BDUs look so good.

I was in a paint shop called Touchstone Auto Paints yesterday when I see this unbelievably gorgeous girl mixing paint in the back. I am not kidding when I tell you she could easily work as a model anywhere. She was so fine I was actually stunned. The first thought in my mind was what is she doing in here? I asked the guys at the counter how they were able to work around such a fine looking female all day and they said it wasn't easy. Come to find out she does deliveries for them and helps mix the paint. They also said she was trying to get a job painting cars at a local shop. Makes a guy want to open a paint shop!
