the Times newspaper drove one and have written it up: check out : www.timesonline.co.uk and go to motoring section ( I had trouble posting link directly to report)
I also read the Autocar article, they loved the brakes but complained the exhaust was too loud - is there such a thing?

I noticed that the Challenge cars were "lunging" when they're in the pits. They are difficult to drive slow. Guess they're difficult to clutch control when there's no clutch!

It's definitly louder than the regular Modena. It sounded much different than both the Modena and the Challenge cars. The howl reminded me of the F2001 I saw driving around just a few minutes before. Quite impressive.

Wow, this is going to be a test of memory- I left my copy on a train after I'd read it. Gist is a much sharper driving experience and feels like a different car.
Instant turn-in and very sensitive to throttle movements. Quicker and more urgent than the Modena. Difficult to drive slowly. Suspension is firmer but handled lumpy roads suprisingly well, suggesting they've done a good job with the damping. They described the sound at high revs as a 'howl' but I don't recall them saying it was much louder than a stock Modena. They liked the paddle shift ('bangs' in the next gear), and the launch control- build the revs and side step the brake.

Sorry- can't remember any more, other than I want one!

Us poor American slobs don't get Autocar magazine (this weeks edition) until LATE next week. There is a road test of the Challenge Stradale in it and we can't wait that long! Give us the scoop, PLEASE!
