Here's what I did today. Installed rear rotors and calipers, installed center console and rear seats, seat belts and just for fun I put in the front seat and pretended to drive!

I've got a picture of the California emissions decal, but I am not to keen on getting this done for fear of breaking the law. Email me direct and we can discuss it [email protected]

>>Any news on the tire stickers for the 308 series?<<

Alan gave me pics to scan and post with the locations of the stickers if that's what you're reffering to? All things in their time Matt :-).

Thanks for the comments, especially coming from you James! Adrian, my engine is at Rock's but I'm doing everything else in my grandfathers garage. The car should be at Rock's to receive the engine in a week or two...I hope! What time will you be going, I'll make sure I'm there at the same time.

Jay,
Outstanding. I have tremendous respect for people who do projects like this purely for love and interest. Look forward to seeing your car. Is it at Rock's? I hope to visit on Monday.

Sometimes I pretend I'm working in the Ferrari factory putting the car together for the first time. It is a real labour of love and many times I've wondered if it is worth it, but the closer I get to the end, the more I know it is...

Well after almost a year and a half, the work that I can do is winding down. Finished detailing and installing rear suspension and hub carriers, new bearings and re-plated nuts and bolts. Waiting on the front bearings (odd ball size, not the same as other 308's or GT4's). New upper ball joints, new shocks all the way around, new fire wall, resprayed tanks, new hoses, fuel, coolant and vacuum, new brake booster and master, new dash, center console and trim.

Spent the last 2 hours getting the old e-brake cable out, it was seized. I ended up heating up the tube with the torch and then using a winch to pull it through. Here are some pics...
