... and I was actually winning for the first couple of metres  , in my Mazda people mover!! Okay the real story! I was driving home from work and ended up at the front of the traffic light queue ... I was tired after another long day, and it was dark and unusually was not aware of the car that was beside me. I wanted to get home so did my usual quick take off when the light went green ... and then this car beside me jumped forward with a growl. My initial thought was another Toyota/Nissan/Rice rocket, but as it moved passed me I realised my mistake (insert embarrassed look here) and away went a nice red F360 coupe. Lucky for me there was a nice clear road ahead and the owner gave it some head in the next gear too ... all though I must admit the gear change looked real slow. Maybe wasn't a F1 360 then??? Anyway, I'm sure the driver was not impressed if he thought I was trying to race him   ... but he convincingly won in the end  , so I'm sure his pride was restored ... but he needs to work on his reaction time!!, hehe. I also can now agree that the F355 sounds much better than the F360. No scream anymore  , what a pity!! I'm bored at work so thought I would share this little story. Pete |
