It IS the chassisnumber. But the VIN started appearing on Ferraris in 1980, so this car doesn't have a VIN. So, I'm sorry, but you can't check this car at Carfax ... |

Jay, That is your engine number. The 5 digits you are referring to are the Chassis Number. You cannot Run a Car Fax on PRE-1980 Ferrari's with Chassis numbers. Matt |

Vin is supposed to have 17 digits. I cant find 17 digits. I can find 11 (F106AL 10XXX) on the frame. The pink slip shows just the 5 digit serial number. Car is in storage, so I cannot check windshield or door. Any ideas? |
