In FCA/FOC events, if you participate in a driver's ed event and accidentally crash into someone else and maim or kill that person, can you be sued? Or does everyone sign a waiver limiting their rights to sue? What about damage to the other guy's car? I drive a Challenge car, which carries no liability insurance at all-would my umbrella policy pick up any claims against me if i were sued?

How much exposure do we really have by driving in these events?

I never even thought of asking these questions until reading the insurance threads.
