Not so much higher, but the 360 front wheels are more forward. The 996, with rear engine, has the front wheels pretty far back from the front of the car... and the front is a bit more rounded, further extending the distance from front to front wheels. As a result, ramps have more of an impact on the 996 than the 360. |

Wow, that suprises me. My TT with a stock US suspension sat pretty high in the front, I thought. So high, I went to the non-US suspension, which dropped it 20mm in he front, and it is still pretty high. The 360 front end sits higher? |

The front nose on the 996's are more of a problem than the 360's nose, when going through dips or bottom of ramps. Not sure which is better/worse on the reverse problem (scraping in the middle due to a hump or top of ramp), as I don't seem to have much problem with that where I happen to drive. |

I have a very steep decline at the end of mt drive, my Porsche TT can just make it without scraping the spoiler when I take the decline head on. Do you think a 360 Modena could make the decline head on or would I need to take it at an angle to avoid scrapping the bottom of the car? Is the ground clearance of the Modena much worse/better than the Porsche 996 TT? |
