I care not about the front plate. It does not look good nor helps in the performance.

Poop!

I have found, at least 4 times, that Highway Patrol and local police care MORE about the no front plate(CVC 5200, 5201)when the city in question is frequented by red light cameras.

(City of Sacramento and Lost Angeles, Peoples Republik of Kalifornia)

My 308 Nor my '99 Chrysler Concorde has a front plate. No mounting on the 308 and a bra on the Chrysler. Never been pulled over.

I was stopped once. I pulled out mangled mounting bracket and plate from the trunk and said, "I'm waiting for this special order bracket to come in. Sorry about that." No ticket, no plate on the front for the next two years. Daily driver.... Maybe I was just lucky.

2 years and 3000 miles of no front plate; no one has noticed yet.

Hi John,
We missed you at the last bay area get together; weather was rotten anyways.
I have had CHP/SFO patrol cars go right by my car w/o incidents, so I'm guessing that it's OK. If it was a daily driver though, I think that eventually your going to get cited.(especially near months end)
BTW, the next drive is set to go North into Marin for sunshine and top down motoring!

Regards

Front?? I do not even have a rear. For speeding, but not for the lack of a plate.
