Anyone running real Challenge brakes would have to be running the Speedline Challenge magnesium wheels (or similar), as the stock 355 mag wheels won't fit over the Challenge brakes....

I know of 2 people who bought a wing over the last 12 months, and they paid $3,500 each.

Jim,

Are you sure they are real Challenge brakes and not "Challenge" style brakes? The Challenge brakes sold seperately, run about 12K from FNA and would be next to impossible to use on the street. I don't think you could ever generate enough heat in them to get them to work well.

I have to drag my brake pedal down the striaght at well over 100 for two laps to get them to work.

The lightweight decklid is not a Challenge item as far as I am aware of.

Regards,

In addition to the wing the car has challenge brakes and rotors, Front challenge bumper and light weight deck lid. Not to mention an alpha spa steering wheel with all the displays

Is it OEM or one of the remakes? If OEM, I think the market would be $3-4k. Jon knows more about this.

FYI, the entire uprade package in 1997 was about $10,000 and consisted of:

Wing and supports, camlock fasteners
Steering rack, quicker ratio
Larger anti-roll bars front and rear

So, the wing was just part of the kit.

I may be interested, but if you think the wing is worth even 1/10 that price, your going to be in for a big suprise.
